Our University Credit Courses have been approved for credit through the University of the Nations. They are graded courses that also grant you Certification. Many of these classes focus on training you in specific areas of Arts, Media, and Entertainment. Tuition is $468 per College credit unit. Additional University of the Nations registration is required for you to receive college credit. 

All of our University Credit Courses are on a Semester Schedule and start in either August or in January. You can enroll anytime, but the course will not be available for grading until the semester cycle of August or January.

Tuition Includes: Access to online all course materials, including teachings via written material, audio, and video. Teacher’s time and research. Administering and grading all homework and tests. (for our Certification Courses & University Credit Courses) Some of our courses include an ebook version of the required books in your tuition. Some courses require you to purchase books in addition to your tuition. 

Once you register for an online University Credit Courses, it will be available to you anywhere at any time. We want you to be able to learn on the schedule that works best for you. You don’t have to be online at any specific time for the classes, however, all of our University Credit Courses start in August or in January. 

For our University Credit Courses, the Students must be 15 years old to enroll in the courses. High school student can enroll in our University Credit Courses as part of their homeschooling curriculum. You will need to confirm the course is approved to be included as part of your homeschooling curriculum.

Learn how to become a Creative Warrior! “Using the Arts in Spiritual Warfare” is an exciting class where you will learn how to become a Creative Warrior as you use your artistic gifting to serve Jesus. You will learn how you can use the arts to battle, in the spirit, for your personal destiny, as well as the destiny of your family, friends, and nation. You will learn how to declare and decree what God is saying to this generation through your art and artistic expressions. You will learn the biblical foundations of using the arts in spiritual warfare. “Using the Arts in Spiritual Warfare” course teaches how you can use different artistic art forms to intercede, and declare God’s truth, and God’s plans, for this generation, as well as declaring your prophetic destiny in God.

In this 3 College Credits, 13 session course, we will explore one different art form each session. You will learn how this art form can be used in spiritual warfare. Each session will include both historical Biblical examples, and current real life examples, of using this art form in spiritual warfare.

You will learn how important it is for you to use the arts in spiritual warfare, and the objectives of being a Creative Warrior. Each session you will have an opportunity to create, during your homework assignment, for that session. You will learn how to become a Creative Warrior, as you use that sessions art form in Spiritual Warfare for this generation, and use your artistic expression to declare the destiny that God has for you, your family, and your nation.

In the “Using the Arts in Spiritual Warfare” course, you will learn how to use the arts to bring God’s kingdom on earth, as it is in heaven.  

Please note: This class does not teach the skills for each of the art forms, rather, it teaches how you can use your existing skill, in that art form, in Spiritual Warfare.

Broadcast your own live streaming video show!

Have you dreamed of hosting your own live streaming video show? Do you have great content and want to multiply your reach for the Kingdom? Do you have a great idea for your own live streaming video show but don’t know how to get it done? This class is for you! Learn how to develop, produce, and broadcast your own live streaming video show!

Live streaming continues to be one of the most popular ways to reach an audience on the internet. Research shows that viewers spend at least eight times more time watching live videos than videos on demand. Live streaming gives you, the host, an opportunity to interact with your viewer, unlike any other medium. The real-time interaction creates a conversation with your viewers, which is second-best to in-person interaction, but much more scalable. It establishes a connection with your viewers while multiplying the reach of your message for the Kingdom of God.

In this class, we will teach you how to develop and produce your own live streaming video show that you can broadcast to disciples the nations with your message of the Kingdom. You will learn how to set up your own home or ministry studio, how to use live streaming video software, how to broadcast your show, how to select and invite guests, how to develop and complete your Marketing Strategy - press kit, and guest kit, for your show. You will also be taught how to record your live stream shows to create videos on demand from your live streaming videos, to post on you social media platforms, and / or to be repurposed later. 

At the end of the class you will have completed, and broadcasted, the first three episodes of your live streaming video show using your new studio equipment & software for your final project.

In this class you will learn how to:

Jeff Tharp

Jeff Tharp is a creative at heart. With over 15 years of experience in video production, editing, and design, he loves sharing all that he has learned with others. He currently co-produces and hosts the popular live-stream show, ElijahFire. 5-days-a-week, he is joined by a variety of guests as they discuss happenings in culture, prophecy, as well as the big issues of today, all with a biblical perspective. Jeff’s passion is in encouraging other creatives to walk with confidence and instill hope and joy in others. He is passionate about filmmaking and is an avid action figure and comic book collector. 

A former YWAM’r, Jeff was the co-leader, and a featured teacher, in the first “Media Track” DTS at the Los Angeles YWAM base. He currently resides in Salem, Oregon, with his beautiful wife Lauren, and their cat Lulu.

This is a great class for worshipers to improve their understanding of music. This is a biblically based course about Music Theory and how you can apply it to worship. Our passion is to help Christians worship God through the arts, and music theory is the basic foundation you need in music. This class is for anyone wanting to learn about music theory and how to apply their knowledge and understanding in worship. Worshipers, worship leaders, prayer room musicians. The course will equip you to understand basic music theory and enable you to improve your excellence in worship. 

This class is a one unit credit UofN course. This course includes a series of over 25 short videos, by Joyce Meade, on music theory and how it applies to worship. The class is for worshipers and prayer room musicians. It includes a basic introduction to music theory as well as teachings on how to use music theory in worship. There is also a music theory textbook used by the students. A pdf of the textbook is included in the tuition for the class. The teaching material is written and pre-recorded audio / video. The online class can be taken when the students have time. Class is divided into 6 sections. There is a final for the student to complete at the end of the course.

Joyce Meade joined Youth With A Mission in 2001, and has taught music theory for years, including in YWAM Schools of Music Ministry (SMM). She has taught with the University of the Nations and traveled widely as Assistant Dean of College of Arts and Sports in University of Nations helping to establish new training programs and strengthening existing ones in fine art, dance, music and sports. Joyce has her BA in Music Education. 

Joyce organized and directed children's orchestra - Manchester Junior Symphony and partnering adult orchestra Manchester Community Orchestra. Founding member of Sammamish Symphony Orchestra in Seattle area. Currently Joyce is the Director Symphony of Nations which she founded in 2002 and is serving as a musicianary in David’s Tent in Washington D.C.

We are excited to show you how you can make your dreams come true! This course, “How to Write Your Nonfiction Book,” will teach you the process you need to know to write your book so that you can impact the world for Christ. 

This course is taught by Dr. Rev. Diane Wigstone, through written material, prerecorded video, and/or prerecorded audio teaching. Therefore, all course content is available for you to read, watch, or listen to, whenever works best for your schedule. The class is set up so that each student can work at their own pace. We work with each student individually to review and grade their completed homework. 

The class is divided into 6 sections. There are 21 class sessions that have homework related to writing your book.

This is a biblically based course about Ancient Art from The Creation up to the advent of the Intertesamental period. It teaches art history and how God has moved through the arts, and been present within art throughout human history. The course will equip students to understand visual arts through Bible teachings and enable students to impart and teach art in various cultural settings. The course will expose and train students concerning ancient art history integrated with biblical understanding and reference. Students will learn about the beginnings of foundations and cultures through the context of the art world. Students will become familiar with how ancient art coordinates with the Bible and promotes student growth as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Gene Berryhill, Phd.




Teacher Information: Gene Berryhill has three degrees in art/design/art history and extensive experience as a professor teaching in Universities in California, Germany, Bulgaria, China, Hawaii, New York, and Pennsylvania. She has taught courses at numerous Universities over the years, including at UofN, Biola, Belmont, and is still currently teaching as Full Professor of Art History at the University of Maryland-UMUC through their online course curriculum. She is the recipient of two academic awards for "in the field" professional projects. Gene became a Fulbright Senior Scholar in 2003, 2005 to Germany and Bulgaria in 2010 and 2016-17. Gene was a recipient of an NEH collaborative research grant (2006-2009). Gene is a highly sought after University professor with extensive experience teaching online classes.

She is also a successful practitioner in her fields of study. Gene is a professional artist and photographer, with exhibition credits all over the world. Gene is also a professional musician and tours internationally with the band the “The Surfaris” with their classic hit, “Wipe Out,” written by her husband Bob Berryhill. They were inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2019.

But, perhaps more important than all of the items on her extensive and impressive resume, is that Gene loves Jesus, and has a vibrant walk with God.
